Climbers and Ramblers

Climbing roses produce long stiff shoots that can be trained onto walls, fences, trellises or up pillars and posts. They tend to have large flowers and although some varieties have clusters of smaller flowers, all Mattocks Climbing roses repeat flower continuously through the summer.

Rambling roses differ to climbers in that their vigorous stems are more lax and pliable, making them easier to train up posts, pergolas, through trees and can be used for screening. They produce masses of small flowers but tend to only flower once in a season.

Patio Climbers are dwarf climbing roses and their compact habit makes them ideal for large containers or training against a wall where space is limited.
